Personnel Unit

This Unit is charged with the responsibility for recruitment, selection, appointment and onboarding staff. Also, the full integration of newly appointed staff into the hospital. Confidentiality and up-to-date record keeping of work related report on performance, as well as ensuring career growth, training and development of all staff.

NHIA

The NHIS  provides comprehensive coverage, including outpatient and inpatient care, maternity care, preventive care, prescribed drugs, pharmaceutical care, and diagnostic tests, aiming to reduce out-of-pocket spending and improve access to healthcare.

NHF

National Housing Fund (NHF) is the interface between FMBN and FNPHY.

 The unit is responsible for the updating of all Staff passbook
and their NHF numbers,
Processing of refunds for retirees, Get up-to-date schedule of payment from Internal (Ippis)to external (FMBN).
Advertise different products and services being offered from FMBN.
Ensures that all documentation needed for processing are up to date

Pension & Insurance Unit

The Pension Unit ensures timely compilation of retirees and prompt payment of their entitlements while the Insurance arm of the unit oversees the protection of all hospital property through adequate provision of insurance cover of all hospital assets.

Establishment Unit

 Interprets circulars, gazettes, the scheme of service and the Public Service Rule for the use of the  hospital.

Legal Service

Is responsible for keeping that company's operations compliant with all the relevant laws and regulations. It is made up of lawyers and legal experts and are considered to be the company's legal counsel.

Budget & Planing

This unit is involved in developing and implementing annual budgets, monitoring their execution, and ensuring compliance with budgetary guidelines, also prepares long-term and short-term plans to support the hospital goals

Open Registry

 handles the storage, retrieval, and management of open, non-sensitive documents like personal files, subject files, circulars, and correspondence, accessible to all staff. 

Transportation

  • Provide mobilization to graded staff and patients. Maintain all official vehicles, including ambulance. Makes recommendation for repairs or replacement.  Arranges and manage drivers and vehicle inventories. Maintains the fleet of cars and ambulances. The unit ensures routine servicing of the cars.
  • Maintenance

    This unit is sub-divided into Electrical and Civil. The unit maintains all electrical and civil installations in the hospital by ensuring urgent and simple repairs. Weekly routine maintenance of wards and departments is done by the unit.

    Laundry

     The basic tasks include: sorting, washing, extracting, drying, ironing, folding, mending and delivery. General ward cleaning service a well as commercialization of its operation.

    Store

    ensures good control of Inventory by sound rationing of issues to all various users vis-a-vis a limited resource such as medical consumables, printing/stationaries and medical equipment from Procurement Unit. Gifts from NGOs, spirited-individual philanthropist are kept an administrate by the Store Unit.

    Security

    In Yaba are committed to providing a safe and secure environment for patients, staff and visitors. Hospital security arrangements keep patients, staff and visitors safe by conducting vehicle inspections and regular patrol and . As well as, security personnel management and controls.

    Telephone

    Enables instant communication and collaboration among nurses, doctors, and other medical staff. Secure messaging and EHR integration to ensure that every team member is up-to-date with the latest patient information.

    Environmental Health Unit

    sees to the cleanliness of the whole hospital environs. The unit strives to ensure effective collection and disposal of all waste generated by the hospital.

    Creche

    The hospital Crèche was donated by  the Lioness Club of      

     Nigeria. The Crèche caters for the needs of the members of staff and the hospital’s immediate environs by rendering quality child care services.

    Catering Unit

    This Unit provides nourishing well-balanced meals for our    

     Patients.

    Hospital Ventures Unit

    The unit oversees and collects revenue in form of IGR from the following sources: Supermarket, Football Field, Different halls, Laundry, Salon, Social Centre, Crèche, Canteen and Car wash.
